|Oct 5||Cambridge Colleges — meet in the St Ives park and ride car park at 10:00 to catch the guided bus into Cambridge Bus Station. Take a coin or two for parking and don’t forget your bus pass if you have one. This is easy walking on the flat round the city taking about 2 hours allowing for sightseeing. Afterwards you can take the bus back, have a spot of lunch or do some retail! Also anyone wishing to bring a friend or partner is fine even if they don’t walk plenty to do in Cambridge.||–|

Our group is looking for new members and would welcome players who enjoy playing in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. We draw for partners at each meeting and we also stop for tea and a chat. Mixing informally means we get to know each other well and appreciate the new company.
Do join us. You won’t regret it.

If you interested in the European dimension, come and join us at our next meeting on Thu Oct 11 at 10:30 am in St Augustine’s Hall, Broad Street.
We present and discuss the politics, culture, history, economics, language, business, and the social issues of individual countries, but we also reflect on some of the challenges which Europe as a whole is faces: globalisation, anti semitism, populism, immigration, Donald Trump, NATO, Russia… and currently Brexit.
The only qualification is having an interest in the topics and issues, or wanting to find out more. You can simply listen or you are very welcome to contribute to discussions. The atmosphere is entirely informal
Contact me for more details or a copy of our next agenda—hope you can join us this month.

Sunday Lunch Group
Our group is looking for 2 more members to join them. It would be useful if the incoming members have a car, as we usually book our lunches outside of Stamford on a Sunday, usually 12 for 12:30 pm. There are some variations on the time when a restaurant is busy and have 2 sittings which doesn’t happen very often.
We all take a monthly turn following a list when we are responsible for the booking and informing everyone on the list, so we are looking for new members who have the time to join us most Sundays.
Please ring me if you would like to know more.
